17-year-old Viktor Enev wins Vitosha 100 km cycling race

Three competitors finished within 3 seconds of the 100-kilometer cycling competition in the final in the 40th anniversary edition of the race to tour the mountain near Sofia - Vitosha 100 km. The champion is 17-year-old Victor Enev who clocked in at 4:19:04. 

Immediately after him, Vladislav Gyurov and the record holder and three-time winner of Vitosha 100, Alexander Alexiev, who two years ago became the first to finish the race in under 4 hours, finished one after the other.

For women, the track record holder is Hristina Kozareva with a result of 5:28:54.

Exactly at 00:00 this evening, the runners will start on the trail of Vitosha 100 km. The best of them are expected to finish around 7.30 am on Sunday morning.

More than 2,500 participants take part in the emblematic competition this year.
