"I'm convinced that relations between Bulgaria and the US will continue to develop in the spirit of lasting friendship and strategic partnership based on democratic values, shared interests and responsibilities," Rumen Radev writes.

President Radev adds that Bulgaria will continue to work towards promoting bilateral trade and investments, the modernization of the armed forces, cooperation in energy, with a focus on Bulgaria’s “joining the US Visa Waiver Programme and concluding a social security agreement”.
