Temperatures will drop in the northwest of the country

Friday will be sunny and hot. Clouds will form in the afternoon over the mountains and in northeastern areas where it may rain. Minimum temperatures will be 20° to 25°C, in Sofia - 20°C. Maximum temperatures will be 34°C to 40°C, 34° in the capital.

Over the Black Sea coast it will be sunny, but in the afternoon the sky will be overcast, with rain showers possible in the north. Maximum air temperatures will be 30-34°C. The sea water temperature is 24-26°C. Sea swell will be up to 1-2.

In the mountains it will be sunny with clouds and possible precipitation over the western and central massifs. The temperature at 1,200 m will be up to 29°C, at 2,000 m - up to 21°C.

On Saturday and Sunday it will be sunny with possible precipitation in the Balkan Mountains and the Rila-Rhodope Mountain range.
