Weather forecast for July 23

Hot weather with temperatures reaching up to 38°С on Sunday

The weather will be mostly sunny and hot. In the mountainous and eastern regions, cumulus clouds will bring rain showers and thunder. A light to moderate northwesterly wind is expected. The highest temperatures will be between 33°C and 38°C, in Sofia – about 33°C.

In the mountains the weather will be mostly sunny but in the afternoon brief showers and thunderstorms are expected. The highest temperature at 1200 m will be about 25°C, at 2000 m - about 18°.

Sunny weather will prevail at the Black Sea coast, but brief showers and thunderstorms are possible. The highest temperatures will be 28°C-33°C and the sea water temperature is 24°-26°C.

It will be mostly sunny and hot in the Balkans. In Athens, the highest temperature will reach 42°C, in Istanbul – about 34°C, in Bucharest – about 32°C, in Belgrade – about 31°C.
