Association of Bulgarian Schools Abroad holds annual conference

The “Traces of Cyril and Methodius’ work around the world” international contest

The annual conference of the Association of Bulgarian Schools Abroad opens in Sofia today.

Awards will be given to students taking part in the international educational contest “Traces of Cyril and Methodius’ work around the world”, organized by the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences’ Cyrilо-Methodian Research Centre. Tomorrow in Karlovo, the town where Bulgaria’s national hero Vasil Levski was born, the results will be presented of a video contest dedicated to 150 years since his death, as well as the translation of the book “Levski in the eyes of children”.

The conference will be attended by current and former cabinet ministers and MPs, by the mayor of Karlovo Emil Kabaivanov and other officials.
