US ambassador Kenneth Merten with first address in this country

The new US ambassador to Bulgaria Kenneth Merten is to make an inaugural address at an honorary assembly today at Balkan hotel in Sofia. The event is organized by the Atlantic Club of Bulgaria, and will be chaired by its president Solomon Passy.

“The address by ambassador Merten will open a new chapter in bilateral relations between USA and Bulgaria,” the Atlantic Club press release reads.
