Bulgarian climber Silvia Azdreeva conquered K2 – the world’s second highest peak, the company organizing the expedition has announced. Azdreeva is now the first Bulgarian woman to have scaled a 8,611 m. peak.
The 37-year old Bulgarian climber is now on her way down to base camp. A year ago she climbed eight-thousanders Everest and Lhotse.
