L'Etape Bulgaria of Tour de France starts in Velingrad

More than 800 cyclists from 22 countries will line up today in Velingrad for the start of L'Etape Bulgaria of the Tour de France. There are two routes: one is 102 km long and the other is 57 km long. 

The tour starts from the city centre and passes through picturesque Rhodope villages, including Ablanitsa, Tsvetino, Gorna Dabeva, Vranantsi.
This is the second largest race in the Balkans under the auspices of the Tour de France. The other Balkan countries where the race is held are Greece and Romania.Didi the Devil
The spirit of the Tour de France will also be recreated through a sport campus in Velingrad, where over the weekend cycling fans will be able to explore exhibits from the Tour de France Museum and have their photo taken with the race's iconic talisman - Didi Senft (Didi the Devil).
