Borovets resort to turn into a jazz stage

For the second year in a row, the international jazz festival "Dr. Emil Iliev" will be held in the mountain resort of Borovets. Due to the great interest, this year the festival will last for 6 days - from August 4 to 9. The organizers, led by Dr. Tatyana Ilieva, have prepared a rich program with the participation of many musicians from Bulgaria and abroad.

Among the main performers are Roberto Fonseca, Matt Bianco, the Wladigeroff brothers, the Wasserfuhr Brothers Jazz Quartet, Vasil Petrov, Jazzanitza, Big Band Blagoevgrad with soloist Jacqueline Taracchi (winner of The Voice of Bulgaria for 2022), Zona Tse, Caliberti rock quartet, Dirty Purchase group, etc. ‎

Jazzanitza is an instrumental formation created by drummer and composer Borislav Petrov. In his author's music for Jazzanitza, he interprets Bulgarian folklore elements with the means of expression of jazz.
