Unsettled weather expected on Monday

It will stop raining and thundering in Eastern Bulgaria on Sunday night. More precipitation is expected in the western parts of the country. It will be mostly sunny on Monday, August 7. Temperatures will decrease and daytime highs will be from 26°C to 31°C, for Sofia around 27°C. Showers are in the forecast for Western Bulgaria on Monday night.

It will be windy and mostly sunny along the Black Sea coast. Maximum temperatures 26°C-30°C. The seawater temperature is 25°C-26°C. Sea state 3.

Over the mountains, it will be windy and mostly sunny. There will be moderate and strong westerly and northwesterly wind. Temperatures will drop. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 meters will reach 21°C, at 2,000 meters- around 14°C. There will be cumulonimbus clouds in the western massifs on Monday night with a chance of rain an thunderstorms.
