A foreign mission will inspect what Bulgaria has achieved in regard to the requirements for membership of the Schengen area.
The inspection will include representatives of the Netherlands and Austria – the two countries which are still against Bulgaria’s joining the Schengen area. The inspection is expected to take place 10-15 September.
