Bulgaria's international chess master Nurgyul Salimova ended in a draw with the black pieces against Russia's Aleksandra Goryachkina in the first game of the Women's Chess World Cup Final in Baku.

Sunday is the second game between the two young chess players. Salimova will play with the white pieces. A win would be enough for either side to win the World Cup, and in case of another draw, a rapid chess tiebreaker will be played to decide the champion on Monday.

The 20-year-old Nurgyul Salimova guaranteed herself a place in the final after eliminating the number 9 seed in the scheme - the Ukrainian representative Anna Muzychuk.
