The 34-year-old patient was born with the rare Mayer-Rokitansky-Kuster-Hauser (MRKH) syndrome, which is characterized by an underdeveloped or absent uterus. Her donor is her 40-year-old sister, who has a family with two children.
Dr. Dimitrov is from Zlatograd, he graduated in medicine from the Medical University in Plovdiv and since 2003 has been living and working in Great Britain.
