Fence being installed around the Monument to the Soviet Army

Workers are putting a high fence around the Monument to the Soviet Army in Sofia, a BTA reporter has informed. There is an increased police presence in the area after a call of the leader of the "Vazrazhdane" party on Facebook, for people to go to the monument and oppose its fencing.

Late last night, after the match between Levski and Eintracht, the police arrested a man, who was part of the group of people near the monument, over aggressive behavior.

Due to preliminary threats made by Levski fans on social networks, a police cordon prevented direct contacts between the people protecting the monument and the fans of "Levski".
