More than 3,500 people to take part at the folklore festival "Bogorodichna Stapka" near Stara Zagora

More than 3,500 people will take part at the 17th National Thracian Folklore Festival "Bogorodichna Stapka" in the resort village of Starozagorski Bani, Stara Zagora region. The official opening is at 11:00 am today. 

The National Folklore Ensemble "Philip Koutev" will give a concert at 19:00 pm. The festive evening will end with a firewalking demonstration. The festival will continue in the first half of Sunday. Crafts of the past will be presented at the festival. The participants will also present favorite dishes prepared under old Bulgarian recipes.
