The Book Alley event will bring together readers from September 4 to 10 in Sofia. 140 Bulgarian publishers are taking part at the event which is organized by the Bulgarian Book Association. It is part of #LiteracyCause, in which books go to their readers at key pedestrian places in cities.

The fifty-eight tents of the largest traveling book fair are located on the pedestrian segment of Vitosha Boulevard and reach the park in front of the National Palace of Culture. There will also be a Literary Corner with a cultural programme featuring book premieres, meetings with poets, writers, translators, as well as various games and workshops for children.
