Nurgyul Salimova sky rockets up the FIDE world rankings

World Chess Cup silver medallist Nurgyul Salimova has climbed eight places in the FIDE world rankings. Thanks to her huge success in Baku, the Bulgarian has registered her highest ranking and is now thirty-ninth in the Elo 2424 rating system

Another Bulgarian in the women's top 100 is former world champion Antoaneta Stefanova, who ranks 46th with Elo 2410.
