"There are three political lessons," Prime Minister Nikolai Denkov said at a ceremony in front of the Independence Monument in Sofia on the occasion of the 115th anniversary of the declaration of Bulgaria's independence. "The first lesson is that when Bulgarians unite, nothing can stop them; the second is that some of the greatest successes can be achieved without blood only through diplomacy; and the third is that if we wish to succeed, instead of competing, we can work together. I hope all politicians understand this - history is built on these lessons, not patriot myths," he pointed out.
