Weather forecast for 23 September

The first day of autumn will be hot, temperatures up to 37°C

The autumnal equinox falls on Saturday at 9.50 AM and marks the beginning of astronomical autumn. In the afternoon it will be sunny, and hot in the plains. Daytime temperatures will still rise and the maximum will reach 32°-37°C, in Sofia - about 33°.

In the mountains it will be mostly sunny. Moderate south-southwesterly wind will blow. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1,200 m will be about 27°C, at 2,000 m - about 20°C.

It will be sunny along the Black Sea coast with a light to moderate southeasterly. Maximum temperatures will be 25°-27°C and 23°-25°C at sea water. The sea swell will be 2-3.
