The House of Europe in Sofia will host an international conference on science diplomacy

An international conference on Science Diplomacy in the Modern Era will be held today at the House of Europe in Sofia on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Diplomatic Institute. The forum will be opened by the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister Mariya Gabriel. 

The conference will discuss opportunities for the development of science diplomacy as a foreign policy tool and provide a platform for the exchange of experience and good practices between different organisations and institutions.

Special guests of the conference are directors of diplomatic academies and institutes in the countries of Central and Southeastern Europe and the Black Sea region - Romania, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia, Turkey, Georgia and Ukraine.
