All are invited to the Language Fair in the City Garden of Sofia

On the eve of the International Translation Day (September 30) and on the occasion of the European Day of Languages (26 September), Sofia's City Garden is hosting a Language Fair. Eighteen languages, twenty cultural institutes, embassies and institutions working in the field of linguistics, culture and education will be represented. 

Besides its pavillions and information stands, the fair also has an accompanying programme with music, discussions, fun games, prizes and promotional materials. All visitors will be welcome - adults, children and their pets - the organisers from the EU Commission's Directorate-General for Translation say. The aim of the event is to encourage people of all ages to learn languages and to raise awareness of Europe's linguistic diversity.
