Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mariya Gabriel is in Kyiv to take part in the meeting of EU foreign ministers.

“I am convening today the EU Foreign Ministers in Kyiv, for the first ever meeting of all 27 Member States outside the EU. Ukraine’s future lies within the EU,” EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell wrote on social media.

“Our support doesn’t depend on how the war is going on in the next days and weeks,” Josep Borrell told reporters in Kyiv on the eve of the meeting, as quoted by Euractiv. “Let’s see what will happen in the US, but from our side, we will continue supporting and increasing our support,” Borrell said further. “We have to provide permanent and structural support because we are facing an existential threat for Europe,” Josep Borrell pointed out.
