The parliamentary group of We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria (PP-DB) tabled bills for reforms in the security services.

On this occasion, the coalition's co-chair Kiril Petkov said he had held meetings with the Austrian foreign minister and parliamentary parties and the topic was Schengen. "They said that the biggest issue in relation to their veto is the security of migration flows, border security, information security," he added.

According to Kiril Petkov, the parliament is also responsible for Bulgaria's accession to the Schengen area, and this is the reason why the bills were tabled.
