The Bulgarian Society for the Protection of Birds organizes today from from 9 am to 4 pm in the capital's Borisova Garden a bird watching action on the occasion of World Migratory Bird Day.

"We will have ornithological walks, we will talk about the migratory endangered species for which we work in the Society - the saker falcon, the Egyptian vulture, the lesser spotted eagle, the red-breasted goose, the Dalmatian pelican," said Milena Ivanova, communications officer of the society.

This year's International Day is dedicated to water and its role in the life of birds. The environmental organization has prepared a stand with information materials. There will also be collected donations for the campaign "Land under protection", dedicated to the conservation of the imperial eagle, the saker falcon and the European ground squirrel.
