During Antarctic Support expedition, the scientists will work on ten scientific projects, they will test new scientific research opportunities using ship-supplied microscopes and oceanographic samplers, and continue the construction of a new scientific laboratory block at the Bulgarian Antarctic base "St. Kliment Ohridski" on Livingston Island.
The voyage to Antarctica and the stay of the ship in the area of the Bulgarian Antarctic base will last about five months - from the beginning of November this year until the beginning of April 2024, announced the commander of St.St. Cyril and Methodius ship, Captain Nikolay Danailov.
