Troops and equipment to travel Bulgaria's roads for exercises

Troops and equipment from the UK and Northern Ireland Armed Forces will be travelling on Bulgaria's national road network from Romania to Greece today and tomorrow as a multinational NATO exercise concludes in our northern neighbour, the Defence Ministry press office said.

Today will also see the transfer of personnel and military equipment from the Koren training area in the Haskovo region to Kazanlak. The occasion is the conclusion of tactical exercises of formations of the 61st Stryamska mechanised infantry brigade - Karlovo.
