Petr Nesterov wins first singles title from ITF tournaments

Bulgaria's national player for the Davis Cup, Petr Nesterov, won the singles title at the tennis tournament on hard courts in Al Zahra (Kuwait) with a prize fund of 15 thousand dollars.

Nesterov, seeded at number 4, made a comeback and beat the leader in the scheme Gonçalo Oliveira (Portugal) in the final with 4:6, 6:4, 6:3 in 2.47 hours. 

The 20-year-old Bulgarian recorded his fifth consecutive victory at the tournament with only one lost set. Thus, after his two doubles titles from the ITF World Federation circuit, he added a singles title.

With this success, Nesterov secured $2,160 and 15 points for the world ranking.
