Bulgaria's Grigor Dimitrov has qualified for the quarter-finals of the Paris Masters after a 6:2, 6:2 victory against Alexander Bublik of Kazakhstan. Dimitrov needed just a bit more than an hour to win. In 2019, the Bulgarian reached this stage of the tournament in the Accor Arena, when he was stopped in the semi-finals by Novak Djokovic.
"It was important to get off to a good start because he has great serve. I've played against him many times and I knew what to expect," Dimitrov commented after the match against Bublik.
Dimitrov’s next opponent will be known after the match between Hubert Hurkacz and Francisco Cerundolo.
