Strong storm has caused damage in several parts of Bulgaria

The stormy wind earlier today has caused damage in Central Bulgaria (Stara Zagora and Kazanlak), BNT reported. There are dozens of reports of fallen trees and branches. There are fallen electric poles. The storm cut off electricity in the Stara Zagorje villages of Rakitnitsa and parts of Dalboki. 

In South Bulgaria, Smolyan and the municipality of Kaloyanovo, there is also an interrupted power supply, and in South-East Bulgaria 10 villages in Tundzha municipality are without electricity. 

In the North-Eastern part of the country (the village of Lavovo, near Isperih), a tornado took the roofs off over 100 houses, there are fallen trees and electric poles, cables were also cut (Dulovo).

In Veliko Tarnovo, the roundabouts around the regional hospital are flooded. There are also alerts for hail.
