Bulgaria's Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov will visit Israel on Monday, November 6, the government press office announced. In Jerusalem, Denkov will meet with his Israeli counterpart, Benjamin Netanyahu. The Bulgarian delegation also includes the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mariya Gabriel.

Bulgaria is among the EU countries that immediately at all levels of state institutions - president, government, parliament - categorically condemned the attack on Israel by Hamas on October 7 and expressed solidarity with the people of Israel.

The position was repeated at the Prayer for Peace held in the Sofia Synagogue on October 15 with the participation of the President, the Foreign Minister, the Speaker of the Parliament, ministers, representatives of the people, ambassadors and representatives of the Jewish community. At the event, it was stated that Israel has the right to respond with all means permitted by international law.
