MPs are to discuss the vote of no confidence against the government, filed by BSP and supported by "Vazrazhdane" and ITN. The main motive for the motion is said to be inability to ensure the national security and defense of the country.

"Part of the reasons is Schengen - something that the whole of Bulgaria is waiting for but no progress is marked", BSP leader Kornelia Ninova said.

Minister of Defense Todor Tagarev described the vote as untenable, adding that it focuses on old and repeatedly discussed issues.
