Many of the problems in the sphere of defense are complex and require complex solutions. In February, we will present the cabinet's overall policy in a White Paper on Defense, Minister of Defense Todor Tagarev said in parliament during the discussion on the vote of no confidence against the government, filed in relation to the defense and security policy. The minister said that the vote of no confidence submitted by BSP, "Vazrazhdane" and ITN did not reflect the objective state of the army.

"The current political leadership is unreliable and harmful; the Minister of Defense is inadequate in the political and military situation both with his rhetoric and behavior and is a security risk himself. It is becoming more and more painfully clear that it is far worse for Bulgaria if the government stays," Kristian Vigenin (BSP) said during the debates.

The leader of Vazrazhdane party Kostadin Kostadinov addressed Tagarev with the words: "You do not serve Bulgaria. You are a Ukrainian official and the services should deal with you. Your place is in prison".

ITN party stated that the government must fall. "That's why we will support every vote of no confidence, regardless of what sphere it refers to" said MP Grozdan Karadzhov.

The motion of no confidence in the cabinet will be voted 24 hours after the end of the parliamentary debate.
