The state of emergency declared in Varna after the hurricane-force wind on Saturday night, which claimed one life and inflicted serious damage, remains in place.

The Varna-Dobrich road remains closed for clearing. The water pumps are being restored, as is the electricity supply in the villages of Dobrich region. Traffic has resumed on the Dobrich-General Toshevo road.
The state of emergency remains in 6 towns and villages in Shumen region. The wind has brought down electric power lines. The power is out in dozens of villages, in some of them the water supply is out as well.
