Bulgarian film “Mother” presented at festival in Vancouver

The Bulgarian movie “Mother” will be screened as part of the European Union Movie Festival in Vancouver this Sunday, November 26, the Bulgarian-Canadian association in British Columbia writes on Facebook. The screening will be at 8:20 PM at The Cinematheque- 1131 Howe Street, Vancouver, BC.

“Mother”, directed by Zornitsa Sophia, is the story of Elena, a talented young theatre director, who begins to realize that she may not be able to have children. In the midst of this existential crisis, she receives an invitation for a new project in Africa, which changes her life.
