Bulgaria participated in the fifteenth edition of the NATO Cyber Coalition 2023 cyber defence exercise in Tallinn, Estonia, from 27 November to 1 December, the Defence Ministry said.

More than 1,000 people from 28 NATO Allies, 7 Partner countries and the EU, as well as participants from industry and academia, took part in NATO's flagship cyber defence exercise.

"These drills are particularly valuable for working out the interactions between the various national organisations involved. In a complex situation we will count on the support of our allies, so it is crucial for us to have established and functioning mechanisms for interaction," said Defence Minister Todor Tagarev, who congratulated the Bulgarian participants in Cyber Coalition 2023, led by Prof. Tsvetan Lazarov. Bulgaria is participating in the cyber exercise for the 11th time.
