Weather forecast for 3 December

Temperatures up to 20 °C, rain and snow in the evening

Clouds will be significant on Sunday. Showers will start from the northwest and cover southeastern areas during the day. A northerly wind will bring in cold air. Rain will change to snow in the central and eastern parts of the Danube Plain and in mountainous areas in the evening and overnight on Monday as it gets colder. Temperatures will range from 3°-4°C in the north-west to around 20°C in the south-east, with a minimum of around 5°C and a maximum of around 7°C in Sofia.

Over the mountains it will be cloudy. Precipitation will be mainly snow. Below 1800m there will be rain, but even there the rain will change to snow by the end of the day. Maximum temperatures will be around 7°C at 1,200 m and around 4°C at 2,000 m.

Skies will be mostly cloudy over the Black Sea coast, where rain will start in the afternoon and may turn to snow during the night. Southwesterly winds, initially moderate and at times strong, will become west-northwesterly on the northern Black Sea coast before noon. Maximum temperatures will be between 14°C and 20°C. The sea swell will be 2-3.
