"All Together" on the International Day of Persons with Disabilities

Charity art event organised by Sofia Municipality

On the occasion of today's International Day of Persons with Disabilities, Sofia Municipality organised a charity event entitled "All Together" 2023.

"We want to draw people's attention to various socially vulnerable groups, to support the talents of people with disabilities so that they can feel special and equal in society," said Deputy Mayor Nadezhda Bacheva, who will be the patron of the event.

Under the dome of the capital's Largo, people with disabilities will exhibit their paintings and handicrafts, give a demonstration of dry felting and painting with closed eyes, there will be Zumba dancing, an art workshop and an entertainment programme. Special guests will be artists from the Association of Independent Writers, Musicians and Producers who will join hearing impaired performers to showcase the work of deaf artists using gestures and facial expressions.
