Together we can turn Bulgaria into a factor of stability and security in South-Eastern Europe, a factor of growth and a regional innovation leader, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mariya Gabriel said at the conference entitled "Foreign Policy Strategy of the Republic of Bulgaria - Challenges and Opportunities" .

A new national foreign policy strategy is about to be drawn up, Minister Gabriel announced. She cited global and climate changes, disrupted supply chains, digitization and migration pressure as the reason for this. We also continue to focus efforts on the Bulgarians abroad, Gabriel said. We are also aware that economic diplomacy has been acquiring new dimensions, the minister added.
