Lukoil is reviewing its asset strategy in Bulgaria, including the sale of its business

"Lukoil has started reviewing its asset strategy in Bulgaria, and will analyse various options, including the sale of the business’’, the company said. The company has started to review its asset strategy in view of the significant change in the operating conditions of the Lukoil Group companies in Bulgaria. 

According to the company, ‘'various options will be analysed with the help of international consultants, including the sale of the business", reported BTA. Lukoil owns an oil refinery in Burgas, 220 petrol stations and 9 oil depots in Bulgaria. The company claims to have invested USD 3.4 billion in the Burgas refinery over the past 20 years.
