Bulgaria to provide Ukraine with anti-aircraft missiles, Parliamentary Committee decides

Following heated debates, the Parliamentary Defence Commettee approved the provision by Bulgaria to Ukraine of unserviceable and obsolete anti-aircraft missile systems.

According to the proposal drafted by GERB, We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria and the Movement for Rights and Freedoms, Bulgaria will also assist in training Ukrainian pilots on F-16 fighter aircraft.

GERB, We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria and the Movement for Rights and Freedoms also propose that up to four Ukrainian infantry or mechanized military units comprising a total of 160 servicemen be trained in Bulgaria on an annual basis.
