Almost 400,000 Leva (more than EUR 204.500) has been raised in Bulgaria for people in the Gaza Strip, the Grand Mufti’s Office has announced, adding that the humanitarian aid has already been sent with the help of local partner organizations. The fund-raising initiative, organized by the Grand Mufti’s Office, spanned one month. The donations have helped provide drinking water, medicines, mattresses and blankets for the people without shelter in Gaza, as well as 30,000 hot meals.
