There are no hidden clauses for Schengen. The documents are public. There is a lot of misinformation and playing with the fears of Bulgarians, Lena Borislavova from "We Continue the Change" said for the BNR. She noted that Bulgaria's accession to Schengen is a definite success. "In an environment in which borders are being raised across Europe and control between countries is being strengthened, Bulgaria has managed to reverse this trend and for us the borders have started to gradually fall", said Lena Borislavova. ‘’With this decision we managed to secure additional Frontex forces on our borders and additional funding from the European Commission for more equipment and facilities’’, said Lena Borislavova.

"We Continue the Change" issued an official position that it is fake news that Bulgaria has agreed to accept 6,000 Syrians and Afghans in order to be admitted to Schengen. The country will continue to apply the "Dublin Regulation" signed 10 years ago, "We Continue the Change" said.
