The Speaker of the National Assembly, Rosen Zhelyazkov, presented awards to six Vietnamese citizens who contributed to the development of bilateral relations between Bulgaria and Vietnam.

This took place at an official ceremony in Hanoi within the framework of the visit of the Bulgarian parliamentary delegation to Vietnam from January 6 to 9, 2024.

"Each of you brings a fond memory of Bulgaria, this makes us stronger and we must utilize this capital," Zhelyazkov said. He pointed out that he was "very moved by the warm welcome and cordial friendly feelings that Vietnamese citizens feel towards Bulgaria and its people".
