Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair and his Institute for Global Change will be "advocates for Bulgarian priorities", the Bulgarian government information service reported on January 17. This was agreed by Blair and Bulgarian Prime Minister Nikolai Denkov in Davos, the statement said.

Mr Denkov outlined Bulgaria's key challenges: eurozone membership and Bulgaria's land borders in Schengen, further integration into NATO and ensuring security against global threats.

The Tony Blair Institute will advise Bulgaria on the fight against corruption, on special services, on the introduction of artificial intelligence in the management of the state and in the communication with the citizens. The Blair Institute is also actively working with Ukraine to help reform the country's institutions, the government press office said.
