Weather forecast for Bulgaria for 25 January 2024

Sunshine, clouds expected in Bulgaria on Thursday

On Thursday, the minimum temperatures in Bulgaria will be between minus 3 and 2°C, in Sofia - minus 2°C. During the day it will be sunny with clouds from the west, but it will remain almost without precipitation. Maximum temperatures will be from 7 to 12°C, in the capital Sofia - around 7°C.

Along the Bulgarian Black Sea coast it will be sunny, with clouds expected in the afternoon hours. Air temperatures will be 5-7°C. The temperature of the sea water is at 6-8°C. 

It will be cloudy over the mountains. There will be light snow showers in places, and rain in the massifs of Eastern Bulgaria before noon. A strong and stormy northwesterly wind will blow. The temperature at 1,200 m above sea level will be 3°C, at 2,000 m - up to minus 3°C.

Friday will be windy with variable, often significant cloud cover. Snow may fall in the eastern parts of the country.
