We made the necessary compromises when we wrote the declaration with our demands, so we are not ready for more compromises, Iliya Prodanov, chairman of the Association of Grain Producers, said before entering the government building for negotiations, BGNES has reported. According to Prodanov, the finance minister should attend the meeting, as he needs to provide the money. Tsvetan Tsekov from the "Fruit and Vegetables" Chamber also called for the presence of Assen Vassilev. "The announcement at the previous meeting was that Finance Minister Vassilev would also be present, so we hope that at least this meeting would be with him," Tsekov said.

Farmers have said they are ready to protest from February 6 in more than 80 points across the country if their demands for funding from the government are not met. In front of the government building, the beekeepers, who were not invited to the meeting between the government and the farmers, announced their readiness to strike.
