Grigor Dimitrov reaches Marseille final

Bulgaria‘s best tennis player Grigor Dimitrov will play today at the final of the tournament in Marseille with a prize fund of EUR 724,000. In the semi-final he defeated Karen Khachanov 6:7 (3), 6:4, 7:6 (5). The Russian tennis player took a 4:2 lead in the third set tiebreak, but Dimitrov won five of the last six points and closed the set after three hours of play.

At the final Grigor Dimitrov will play against Ugo Humbert of France (ATP Rank 21), who defeated last year's champion Hubert Hurkacz 6:4, 6:4.

"It was a great physical battle, but I believed in success. The final is important for me. Let's enjoy the match together", said Grigor Dimitrov after the victory.

The Bulgarian tennis player will compete for his second title in 2024 and his tenth tour-level title.
