Republic of Korea's National Assembly Speaker visits Bulgaria

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, Kim Jin-pyo, is paying an official visit to Bulgaria at the invitation of National Assembly Speaker Rosen Zhelyazkov. This is the first visit by a speaker of the Republic of Korea's National Assembly to Bulgaria.

The official visit will begin this morning with a wreath-laying ceremony at the Monument to the Unknown Soldier. Later, Kim Jin-pyo and Rosen Zhelyazkov will have a tete-a-tete meeting at the historical building of the National Assembly, followed by plenary talks between MPs from both countries.

During his visit to Bulgaria, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea will meet with President Rumen Radev and Plovdiv Mayor Kostadin Dimitrov.
