Vinegrowers in Bulgaria’s Straldzha recreate the traditional ritual of pruning the vines

Vinegrowers and winemakers in Straldzha celebrate the Trifon Zarezan holiday on February 14, the municipality announced. The traditional ritual of pruning the vines will take place in the massifs near the city. 

The celebration will also be accompanied by a competition for the best home-made red wine, white wine, and rakia, as well as an award ceremony. The region of Straldzha is famous for its "Misket" wine.
