The four-day BIOFACH trade fair for organic food, combined with VIVANESS, the international trade fair for natural and organic body care, took place from February 13 to 16 in the German city of Nuremberg. According to the Bulgarian National Association of Essential Oils, Perfumery and Cosmetics (BNAEOPC), more than 2 550 companies from 94 countries exhibited their products.

Bulgaria is represented by BNAEOPC with a collective stand where producers of essential oils, distillers, growers and suppliers of raw materials exhibit their products - premium essential oils, rose water, pine water, floral waters, tinctures, etc.

Bulgarian rose oil is expected to be included in the European Pharmacopoeia (the main source of quality control standards in the EU). Thus, in addition to its use in cosmetics and perfumery, our rose oil will also be used in the treatment of a number of health problems and diseases.
